Troy Ave has reportedly been charged with attempted murder and illegal weapons possession. This comes as newly released surveillance video appears to show the “Major without a Deal” rapper firing shots at Taxstone.

The official Twitter account for the NYPD is reporting that Troy Ave has been charged with attempted murder, in addition to criminal weapons possession.

On Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at approximately 10:15 p.m., police responded to a call of a male shot inside 17 Irving Place (Irving Concert Hall) within the confines of the 13 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 33-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the stomach, a 26-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the leg, and a 34-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the chest. EMS also responded to the location and transported the 33-year-old male to Beth Israel Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The 26-year-old female and the 34-year-old male were transported to Bellevue Hospital, via EMS, in stable condition. Further investigation revealed a 30-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the leg at New York University Hospital, who was transported there by private means. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
